'Try it & see' Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1st entry for Eurovision from 1967-9

Back in the 1967 or it could have been 1969 (there are conflicting reports) Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice wrote a
song specially for Eurovision entitled “Try it and see”. The song was never selected for Song for Europe.
It certainly sounds like a more Lulu (69) than Sandie Shaw (67) style song.
When instead of shelving the euro melody he used the song with completely different lyrics. In fact it became
one of the best tunes from his first Rock Musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar' the song "King Herod's Song".
Here is a recent version sung by Rik Mayer - shame we cannot find the original lyrics today!! unless
Lulu has a copy in her loft maybe?
