It truely is Amazing' and not just the new song- we are refering to the wonderful Danny Saucedo!

with a matter of weeks from his Globen final- and during this time he has become the darling of the European media

with Danny being one of the favourites to win Melodifestivalen 2012.

Yet this week Danny took sometime to do an exculsive interview with a top radio station Joy 94.9 Fm:

It is certainly all schlager-smiles -as here we have now complete list of the Artists- just realeased a couple of days ago at the press conference over at Svt-

As expected and now it's confirmed -Charlotte's Perrelli will return to Melodifestivalen for the third time with

another Fredrik Kempe tune called 'The Girl' meanwhile Fredrik has a brand new act for Melodifestivalen 2012

called Youngblood- with a tune of the same name. In this batch there is alot more newbies- artist who maybe known in sweden yet never been before in Melodifestivalen. One name we were hoping for -was certainly Magnus Carlsson- however that rumour turned out to be untrue- ahhhh! there is always next year...

Will Nanne +One More Time- make it one more time for Eurovision in 2011?

Danny of EMD, Shirley Clamp & Sanna Nielsen, Lasse Stefanz and Lili & Susie are said to be certain names to perform in Melodifestivalen 2011. According to Aftonbladet (newspaper) last weekend they say Christer Bjorkman has a half full list of Stars. Who are going to make up a larger list of top names for 2011, the normal 4 Top Star jokers will increase next year to 15

Legend Nanne Grönvall is said to be certain for a comeback with her band One More Time, they did have 2 successful entries in the 80s Then One More Time won Melodifestivalen in 1996- they came 3rd at Eurovision with 'Den Vilda' More Melodifestivalen veterans in Sanna Nielsen and Shirley Clamp who
have been missing in recent line-ups.

We are into the second week after the Mf Final now yet Marlena's winning song 'La Voix' is still only at No: 4. Normally the winner leaps up to pole position in the chart by now However popular boyband E M D are holding on to No: 1, as Caroline De Ugglas has now jumped up to No: 2 Lili & Susie hold at No: 6 - Fantastic girls your song was just meant to be at Globen for sure. Look 'Oh No' Alcazar & Agnes have dropped down the charts now already. Then two songs that did not make the Final, are high risers this week Star Pilots are up to No:7 While Anna & Marie Hanukaas Storeng stormed into Top 10 from 28, proving to be another great tune 'Killing me tenderly' just missed out on a Globen placing at least. One last mover to note is another one of my fave raves Velvet's 'The Queen' is back up to No:15 ! Stayed schlager tuned to see what happens next week will Marlena finally hit No: 1?

That is the popular audience vote during the

recent rehearsals Alcazar to win. It certainly is

set to be one of the closest Mf battles in Globen

Ever ! Even the Swedish press

& polls all show a different favourite! Nothing like

in 2007 & 2008 when we had a clear favourite.

Malene leads the Expressen Poll currently

followed by Caroline & Mans!

On the night it looks like a Marlena Alcazar & Mans

will capture the swedish public & jury. However with the new

format the International Jury is set to reveal there

results just before sweden begins voting. With a

hope this will sway the public to vote with a

Eurovision audience in mind? How will that

EMD look set to go all the way Direct to Globen?

Well Melodifestivalen semi final in Leksand is about to begin, the one song this week I have a great feeling about is EMD's 'Baby Goodbye'. It really is a step in a different direction for Erik Danny & Mattias. With the added Top hat & tails of their performance I think they may get the 1st one way ticket to Globen. 

For the nights other winner its a tough one to pick out. Now I luv BWOs music and I do admit that only one or two of their ballads have really impressed me, perhapes 'We could be heroes' being the exception. I am sorry cus 'You are not alone' is not up to that songs standard for me, so we may see BWO in second chance in the fantastic company of her highness Miss Velvet. 

Leaving the big swedish ballad  "Sa vill stjarnorna" from Molly Sanden, could this be the one going direct to Globen.  It certainly has been a popular tune from the rehearsal reports in Leksand, along with Velvet's 'The Queen' lets see what happens. The outcome is all written, 

in the stars......

Who are The Star Pilots?

Well, along with E M D they have been confirmed for

Melodifestivalen 2009- So now all artists + songs + writers have been revealed.

E M D are three x swedish idol winner & contestants Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andreasson & Danny (who had huge hit with Tokyo thought out Europe) these guys have No:1's already with the most recent topper being "A State of Mind" new album which is rather great for a debut. They will sing at Mf Semi- Final at Leksand, a self penned song called "Baby Goodbye"

Then the question remains who f#@ are the Star Pilots? they are a new 4 piece band comprising of Johan Fjellstrom & Joakim Udd who have produced Hit songs for A-Teens, E Type, Marloolio & Helena Paparitzou. They are about to take off with their new single "In the heat of the Night"

it may sound like an 80's cover! but its not, yet they do credit Samantha Fox, Top Gun & Eurythmics as influencing their sound. The song for Mf in Malmo Semi-Final is "Higher" and the 4 singers are known as

M-38, M-31, J-21 and J-38 complete with Tom Cruise sunnies !

Looks like a retro-summer to be had in sweden next year...
