Lena does us proud with a New look at MTV Music Awards in Belfast

Lena Meyer-Landrut winner of Eurovision 2010- and the girl who cameback in 2011. Lena's success goes on firstly she won the Mtv Europe Best German-Act & Best European Act awards in October- this year.

Following this our very own 'Lena went for the Mtv Top International Act Award in the awards ceremony in Belfast yesterday. On the night she did not take this third prize- however up against the likes of Katy Perry & Lady Gaga - we think Lena certainly did us proud- just check out her new look & outfit for the night on the arrival Pink carpet.

What a dress - her look even hit the Australian press today in Melbourne.

Lena is a true Eurovision-star who will continue to impress & comeback with her wonderful bright personality

we heard the lads were so excited about using a foreign translator.

Everyone else just was left thinkin' just how can anyone possibly translate at the pace the twins both talk? well- it turned out they can, in russian anyhow - Also in true Jed-style Lena the german winner of Eurovision could not wait to met them, she organised to pick them up in a limo from the hotel

to take them on the first journey to Eurovision Espirt Arena. As you can imagine Jedward were in their element to met Princess Lena Meyer Landrut.

Lena Meyer-Landrut- brings us Good News next month

Some real Good News' from Germany Lena Meyer-Landrut, will release her next album early february.

Lena will release the album “Good News” on February 8th and the album will contain the 12 pre-selection songs for Germany's Eurovision entry this year in Dusseldorf among the songwriters are Robbie William's hit tunesmith Guy Chambers and Stefan Raab.The final selection will take place on February 18th.

Not only will Lena begin her first tour in April 2011- but also she has dared to start a Eurovision-trend by after winning coming back the 2nd year to defend her winning title like in Sports event. It will be interesting to see how Gernmany goes. This album is full of Eurovision song contenders all released in advance of a per-selection broadcast by a solo artist- and is perhapes another historical first? for Luvly Lena.

Eurovision 2011 Where will it be Berlin? Hamburg? Dusseldorf? Or Hannover?

Lena Meyer Landrut, who historically took Germany to their 2nd ever

win in the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Now since May there has been many discussions as to where the location of Eurovision 2011 in Germany will be. Many of Germany cities have put in a bid to be the host, this competion has now been narrowed down to

four strong contendors.

The date has been set for 14th May 2011- for the Grand Final, with the semi final's during the week before (10th & 12th ) The two stand-out bids are seen as the capical Berlin & second city Hamburg, they both have just what a big city needs to take on the giant Song Contest.

On a recent site Lena herself said while not wanting to put down her 'fantastic' capital Berlin,

she thinks 'Hamburg' has been strong follower of ESC held parties each year for alot longer-

so has Lena's vote.

Will her option make a difference we will find out in a few days- its

almost as exciting as Australia's hung parliment down-under !!

it's Germany in 2011- With Lena Meyer Landrut again!

Germany is been thrown into preparations for Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Three German cities are in the running for the big music event next year -and they are :-

Berlin

Cologne

Hamburg or Lena's hometown -Hannover

It seems Berlin would be best option for the Eurovis' circus in 2011, but we'll have to wait and find out who will take this great honour in Germany next year.

Then also when Stefan Raab who discovered Lena during his 'Unser Star fur Oslo' was asked about

a German star for 2011. Stefan felt the best choice would be Lena again! and a selection show to chose the best new song. It may not have been a serious suggestion, just something that came out in the heat of the victory excitment of last weekend.

It got me thinking-well why not? No country has ever sent the same artist twice to Eurovision just after winning- two years running. (except- switzerland once way back in the beginining with lys Assia in 1958!)

So not only will ESC 2011 be hosted for the first time by one of the Big 4 countries, what other new territory and ideas will Germany 2011 bring- Let us wait and see.

Germany's Lena Meyer- Landrut becomes the New Oslo favourite

Her name is Lena Meyer-Landrut, she is a Huge new star in Germany Austria & even Switzerland.
She was a clear favorite for the German ARN/NDR 'Unser Star fur Oslo ' TV show This series was organised by former
Eurovision contender Stefan Raab, it was a long Idol/ X factor like-process. From a total of 20 acts the competion
was down to 2 girls Jennifer Braun and Lena. In the final show the singers had shown their talents by
performing other artists popular songs. It was clear Lena singing 'Satellite' was the most popular on the
night. And for most Eurovision Starlettes the story pauses here until Eurovision Final. ( as Germany get a qualifing
place in ESC Final each year)
Lena's success story contined with three songs from the Show shot into the German Top 10 chart lists 'Bee' & Love Me
(wrote by Stefan Raab & Lena) the winning song 'Satellite' stayed at No;1 and reached Platinum in no time at all.
As well as becoming Germany's fastest selling digital release ever! Not bad for one entry in this year's
Eurovision Song Contest. Could Germany be the first country from the big four to win ESC in the new
